we have a need to open documents sent to us from several office 2007 users, some of which are using compatability mode and others not.

however we can not open either of these on the blackberrys and it doesn't even recognise there being an attachment if it is a docx file

any help please

Are you on BES?
If so, make sure the BES is at least at service pack 4 (4.1.4).
SP4 added Office 2007 support.

Also make sure that you have gotten the free update, or the premium version of documents to go if you are looking to edit the documents/download them.

just need to be able to read them so will get update for bes - cheers
