Default jabber only IM client?

Please Login to Remove!

jabber.com offers one, but only in large #'s...

I will connect to my own jabber server...

thoughts?

Causerie does Jabber, but also does other protocols. I don't have much practical experience with it, though. I was looking at it because they have a version that'll do Jabber-SSL. I didn't particularly like the UI, myself.

I don't know if there's a client that does only the Jabber protocol.

I used to use Causerie BETA version and must say I was very happy with it. I was using only because of ther fact of possibility to connect to my jabber server.

Sounds like someone wants to use Google Talk, Google's new IM service that uses Jabber as a backend and your GMail address as a login, on his BB...

:D
