Default Blackberry to PC (Vista)

Please Login to Remove!

My wife has asked me to have the contacts on her Blackberry 8800 also be available in her Microsoft Mail on her Vista desktop PC. I have no experience with the Blackberry device whatsoever. She will soon have to return the BB to her employer, and wants to retain the ability to email and have other information for her contacts on her PC. The contacts are very large in number and to redo them physically on her PC would be a very significant effort.

How do I accomplish what she needs done?

Thanks very much,

Default sugar,

I don't understand, inasmuch as I am trying to do the reverse of what the link you provided speaks to directly. Unless the linked instructions sync the BB to the PC Microsoft Mail and the PC Microsoft Mail to the BB,regardless of where the information first resides, then I don't get it.

Default

connect your BB to the PC
Open the Desktop Manager on the PC
Select Synchronize
Select Synchronization (right panel)
Select the Synchronization button
Check Address Book
Select the applicable Desktop Application
Select One Way Sync (from Device to Application)
Click Next twice
Click Finish
Now Synchronize away!

Default sugar,

excellent. Thanks very much. Laying it all out is exactly what I needed as a BB neophyte. BTW, I assume that Microsoft Mail = Outlook from the software's point of view.

hi,

I purchased a blackberry 8700g from a friend. However I wanted to connect it to my desktop but don't know how.. I am a rookie in these things

What do I have to download? I allready know it should be desktop manager but which one???.. Or is it better to upgrade it somehow and download another desktop manager..?

Can anybody plz help me :s with some links to downloads? I don't have a disc for installing files..

I found this info about my BB; v4.1.0.286 (Platform 2.0.0.124)

Also is it possible to instal this freeware program on it? i'm looking for a free spreadsheet for my sportsresults..(tennis)

Hope someone can help..
