Default Does anyone know how to transfer numbers on Pearl memory to a sim card

Please Login to Remove!

Somehow only one of my numbers is on my sim card. I have a new phone so I'm trying to figure how to copy the numbers on my old phone to my sim card so I can have them all ready for the new phone. Any help? Thanks!!!

If the old phone (blackberry) is the pearl, you can copy one number at a time from the Address Book to the SIM card... open the contact, menu > copy to SIM card.

go into your phone book and select a contact, hit menu > copy to SIM. you can only copy 1 at a time, and only one number is copied per name. if you have multiple contact numbers for instance, this would require multiple SIM contacts. Are you moving away from the BlackBerry? If not, the the switch device wizard will move all your contacts to your new device.

WHen you get your curve go into desktop manager, plug in your pearl, click on "Switch device wizard". It will backup your device completely (apps/settings/PIM data) and then ask you to connect your new device. Connect the curve, hit next, and you are all done.

Eww... Definitely do not transfer via the SIM phone book! It is definitely the most tedious method possible aside from manually keying in your contacts.

You can use the switch device wizard or sync both with Outlook. I recommend syncing with Outlook or at least regularly using the Backup utility in Desktop Manager anyway to keep a copy of your contacts on your PC.
