Default Service Books and BES/WebClient

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have a BES account with my firm but I was just wondering - How many Service Books am I supposed to see under "Options | Service Books"? And, what are they supposed to be? Currently, I have the following:

Desktop [CMIME]
Desktop [CICAL]
Desktop [ALP]

I know this may depend on the company but I wanted to get a general idea from others.

Thanks.

You should have those as well as several others depending on your carrier. As you can see by the descriptions below, everyone will have those if they are on a BES.

Desktop [CMIME] - Used for composing emails / viewing attachments (BES/Redirector)
Desktop [CICAL] - Used for the calendar (BES/Redirector)
Desktop [ALP] - Used for the address lookup feature in the contacts (BES only)

Thanks for the reply. Another related question - I recently received a long email msg on my BB but when I tried "getting more" details, I received an error msg indicating I did not have the service book required to use the "More" functionality....what service book is required for this?

Thanks.
