My Blackberry 8330 batter drains down in about 8 hours after coming off of a full overnite charge. I am only using data and I am using the phone very little. I placed a new battery in and it still does the same thing. I have only had it a month. I purchased it thru Verizon. HELP???????????????

Do you have any 3rd party applications installed on the device?

Do you leave applications running in the background?

Also, if you've only had it a month, you may be able to exchange it for another device.

Do you happen to have Bluetooth active, but not connected? This can tend to drain the battery fairly fast due to it searching for compatible devices.

Are you in a bunker most of the day? My cube is a dead zone, I keep it charging all day or else turn of radio.
