Cool Adding licences to BES 3.6 - Have to recradle Devices ?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all

We are running BES3.6 with the standard 20 licences. We are now getting another 25 devices so I have to increase the licensing.

I ordered another 50 (which come in 5 x 10 for some strange reason) and I believe that if I add these in, the current blackberry devices will lose their connection to the server.

Therefore each current user will have to recradle and recreate their encryption key after adding the new licensing.

Is this right ? If so, is there a way around it ? Why is it like this ?

Hoping someone can help me

Cheers

No problems by adding licences.
I have a 3.6 Bes and I start at 20 licences then 30 and 40 and this week to 50.
Nothing needed

we're on version 4.
still I don't see why adding a extra licences would interrupt the existing users unless you have to do a reboot?!
