PST Mails!

As per company policy we are following pst standards but in this case mails are skipping/not coming up on the device.

Could anybody have an idea or solution on this.

Thank you

If you could post a bit more info, we might be able to help.

Are you talking about Outlook .pst files? If you are using outlook, there are a number of reasons that the information is not getting to the device.

Are you on a Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) or a Blackberry Exchange Server (BES)? What device(s) are you using.

The more info you can post, the easier it will be for us to help with a diagnostic.

Welcome!

We definitely need more info. Are you on BES or BIS? What type of mail server? How is mail getting delivered to Outlook and to the BB?

If you're on Exchange and using BES then the PST files are probably your problem.

I am talking about outlook pst files and we are using BES and integrate it with Microsoft Exchange server. I think its clear now

Wirelessly posted (8100 Pearl)

I have been on BES for years. We use MS exchange and MS outlook. I use PST files with impunity and have never had a problem. I even use PST files to archive emails from my BB. While they appear filed when I do this on my BB they won't actually move until I do a hard sync with the PC.

I am not sure what your issue is or what you mean by PST rules.

PST files should have nothing to do with sending or receiving emails either on you desktop or BB. Is it possible you have a rule set up that auto transfers some emails to the PST file?

Also I have found that some email gets identified as junk and is therefore dumped into a junk folder on my desktop without being received on my BB.

If you want emails sent to your device other than what ends up in your outlook inbox you can go into DM email settings and custom choose what folders you want to sync with your BB.

Hope some of this helps.
