Please Login to Remove!

Hi!

I have just recieved a 7780 and it has no sim card how do I get one? Also when I turn the power on the keyboard lights up but not the display screen. Can anyone help me? I just wanted to use it on my wireless at home. I didn't think it would be a problem.....

Thanks for any advice

EDIT: I stand corrected.
Never heard of anyone using a 7780... but it exists.

Looks like a tri-band GSM device, with no WiFi. I doubt you could use this on your home wireless network.
You would get a SIM card from whatever GSM carrier you would be using for your mobile phone/data service.

I see that you also don't have a carrier. You will have to get the SIM card from your carrier of choice along with a voice plan at minimum to be able to use your Blackberry.

You can't. The 7780 does not have WiFi.
It's GSM only.

The only devices with integrated Wi-fi are the 8x20 devices, as well as the upcoming 9000, aka the Bold. You will not be able to use your home internet connection on this device.

Wireless Internet is not WIFI. Wireless Internet refers to Internet using your phone connection to the carrier's cell tower and network.
