Is there a way I can have my Blackberry automatically ignore, or do a silent ring, for a specific contact? I see where I can add a custom ringtone for that contact, but silent isn't listed.

you could make a blank mp3 file and assign it to that contact

Only snag may be that I have my BB setup to vibe then ring.... Ah well.... Maybe I ought to tell the person in question just to leave me the **** alone!

That is a good suggestion.

You can get a black/white list, callblocker application for phone calls. I don't know the extent to which it works for SMS or emails... check our aftermarket software section for it.
