Question Help with Media App

Please Login to Remove!

Just got the Curve. Love the phone, but I can't figure out the Media App. Roxio crashes all the time. I was able to download MP3s by uploading to a web site and downloading to the BB (very circuitous). Roxio says it can't write the file to the device.

Anyhow, once I download the files to the phone, the Media App can't see anything. I can find the files if I browse for them, but its not coming up under media.

It does not see files in /Media Card/Blackberry/music or /Device Memory/home/user/music

Only place it reads from is the /Device Memory/samples/music folder.

Am I doing something wrong???

Welcome to the BBF.

If you are still plugged into the USB cable, disconnect and check you media folder again.

I gave up on the cable for downloads. I'm not plugged in at all. I can move files around, but the Media App can't see them.
