Hi. I'm using a Verizon 8830 on BES, and it looks like everything on the BB is wirelessly synched to Outlook on my laptop. The only 3rd party apps I have are rCalculator and Chronograph. Is there any reason I should be running backups, or can I count on the wireless synch to keep me safe?

The wireless sync will handle your Corporate email and PIM (calendar, address book, etc). If your device fails, you will get everything back (your email will only be back to the pre-population rules on your company's BES). You will also get device settings (font settings, etc) back if your BES is set to backup those settings.

Any third party data will be lost. Including BIS email if you have that set up.
