I'm a newbie, so please bear with me.

I added a Personal Email account for my yahoo email. This added a new message folder with the 'Y' logo on it, and the folder receives all my new yahoo mail. However, a copy is also placed in the original message folder which contains my work emails. Is there a way for the yahoo mails to only go in the yahoo message folder?

I have an AT&T Curve.

you will always get the copy in the messages folder. IF you only want to see just one folder with notifications, hide the yahoo mail folder by scrolling to it, hitting menu > hide. welcome to the forums

OK, thanks. I thought there was a workaround because it's hard to tell which mail is which when it's all in one folder.
