Default Contacts will not sync with BB

Please Login to Remove!

I was able to sync my Calendar from Microsoft Outlook to my BB 7290 using Intellisync. However, when I try to do the same thing with Contacts it goes through the syncing process but when I open the address book on my BB there are no contacts. I've tried this process repeatedly and I still can't get any contacts to show up on the BB. Can anyone help? Thanks.

It's not giving you any error messages?

What version of Outlook?

Default sync my Calendar from Microsoft Outlook

Twinkie,
is your pc on a domain? If yes, then check to see if it is set to download all to your local pst file for Outlook. Chances are then answer is yes. You will have to set to retrieve all from your domain exchange server ie your pc retrieves all appts, tasks and emails from the exchange server. This should allow for all contacts etc to sync. Let me know otherwise.

is your bb address book on a filter? just a thought. also on the desktop manager you can choose exactly which contacts folder to sync. i dont sync with my main contacts folder. i have a folder in my outlook 2003 called BB contacts. thats the one i sync with.

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 7520: BlackBerry7520/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

I had the same problem with my 2003. I went into PIM configurations on the Desktop Manager, and removed address book. Then I just re-applied it and voila! Syncage. I had to do this with addrees book, memopad, etc. Hope this helps!

7pants you had the answer. I had to select <none> from the Address Book and then re-apply. Another thread called "Contacts not synchronizing (?)" also had the solution and was very helpful. Thanks. This is a great forum.
