Please pay attention to the instruction of deleting vendor.xml should you choose not to use your carrier's OS - many people miss it...

I can't find the vendor.xml file anywhere. I tried the update from orange but my system is not reflecting it and desktop manager doesn't see it. I have a t-mobile 8320. I looked where I was told and did an exhaustive search for it. Any suggestions?

Did you actually install the handheld OS on your PC?
