Hey guys, I bought a phone the other day on ebay. Got it today and i guess it came with the wrong password. After trying 5 times to enter the password, now it says enter "Newpassword" and anything I put in it wont take. Anyone have any ideas on how to get it unlocked?

Generally, you enter the wrong password 10 times and the device will wipe all it's data and you can reenter a new password. Never seen the enter "Newpassword" before.

Yeah thats what it tells me to do and every time i try to enter a new password it says password must include 1 number 1 letter, and 1 symbol. Every password i try says that and i have tryed so many, it still says the same thing? I dont really know what else to do?

There maybe an IT policy on it. Remove IT Policy
