With 4.0 you get a copy of all the emails you send through Outlook on your BB handheld, does anyone know any way to stop that?

Yes go to the BWC and under options deselect saving a copy on the sent folder. Make sure you save and that is it.

How to set Inbox folder as default view?

its due to the folder redirection being set to include "sent items"
Messages => (wheel)Options => Email settings => (wheel)Folder Redirection =>
[expand mail box]
Remove the tick in sent items =>
(wheel)Save

Just a note on this, we upgraded our BES to 4.02 (Domino) and noticed there is a bug with this. All devices had sent mail redirection turned on by default after the upgrading. Turning the sent mail redirection off as above did not fix the problem in the first instance. We had to do the following:

Messages => (wheel)Options => Email settings => (wheel)Folder Redirection =>
[expand mail box]
Remove the tick in sent items =>
Click back and save

Messages => (wheel)Options => Email settings => (wheel)Folder Redirection =>
[expand mail box]
Add the tick in sent items =>
Click back and save

Messages => (wheel)Options => Email settings => (wheel)Folder Redirection =>
[expand mail box]
Remove the tick in sent items =>
Click back and save

Only then did Lotus Notes sent mail redirection stop.
