Default Turn off caldendar and tasks reminder??

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All,
I'd like to turn off my calendar and tasks reminders...can you help? e.g. I don't want any msgs to pop up when I'm near an appointment or tasks. I'd like to have reminders on my outlook but not on the blackberry itself. Thank you very much for your time!

In calendar you can set the option for default reminder to None, but there is not an option for that in Tasks.

We have a user that would like to disable this option also. My understanding is that the Default Reminder | None option is for calendar entries created on the HH device. It that correct?

How do you set Tasks reminder to none? It is not under "options." Much obliged!

For both Tasks and Calendar events, the reminders can be set at the time they are created. There is an option to do that as you create the individual task/app't. Default reminders can only be set in Calendar, not tasks.

Notifications are set under the profiles. For task, calendar events or most other things you can set up how you wish to "notified", if at all.

Whenever you want to add a task, just don't set a reminder for it. The default is not to have a reminder. You actually have to set a reminder for tasks each time you add a task.
