Default How do i change "My Number"

Please Login to Remove!

I bought the phone from someone and now have it active on my acct. But it still shows his old phone # in the "My Number" field. Any way to change this??

have you tried a total wipe of the handheld

My 7520 won't let me change mine, but on my sister's 7290, I was able to go into tools-->SIM card and set her number because it wouldnt recognize. hope this helps

Options - SIM Card - Edit SIM Phone number
after you've entered it, you don't get any notification and it probably won't update right away - you'll need to reboot to get it to change the settings and display (take the battery out or use the inset reset button)

depends on the device he has thats not available on all units

did the wipe and it reset everything but that.
