I was told in an O2 (UK)shop that I couldn't link my blackberry up wirelessly to a printer and a monitor-when is this going to happen? I have bluetooth, Thanks in advance

Never heard that was possible, at least the monitor part...don't see the need for it

basically it is for my family member who doesn't want to learn how to use a computer(he only got a mobile phone when everyone was bugging him!). Things are going well wuth the blackberry, emails are working fine, but he now wants to print things out. I recommended a printer with wireless connection(I've seen a lot of them around) and also a monitor so he could browse properly as no website appears to have blackberry/mobile style sheets. The idea is that you can connect to the web with the blackberry and display the page on a monitor. Printing can be done directly from the blackberry wirelessly as well. Or maybe I just need a usb to connect to the monitor or printer? Any ideas guys?! Thanks

Check Planon for the Printstik battery-portable Bluetooth thermal printer - intended for Windows but they have some primitive BlackBerry printer drivers and are working to improve those.

Also Impatica Virtual Dock can put the BB screen/keys in a window on Windows

Thak I checked out those printers-the printstik looks quite cool-that is all blackberry which is great no cables to worry about. My next question is: I was wondering if you can connect a printer by cable to a blackberry? Is that possible? Thank you

I've just read some other posts so it seems that you can't connect a printer directly into the bb in the USB. Well that is a bit sad I am surprised that wasn't thought of.
Anyway the other way seems to be by bluetooth so I can just do that then. Thanks
