| Sorry to hear that it did not fix it. I think I still experience it from time to time, where email takes a while to get to my phone (mainly at night, which I really don't care, since I am sleeping). I did notice that if you have say, 3 new emails on your phone, open one email, read it, then delete it and wait a few minutes, all of a sudden your backlog of email will show up (sometimes up to 20 at a time). It could be something with the blackberry server that polls your email server to see if you have new emails that might be running every few hours instead of minutes.
Since I am the admin for our company email server, I decided to take a look at the number and times the blackberry server connects, and yes, my theory seems to be correct. There are gaps in the times it connects from 30 minutes apart to over an hour apart (Server name and user names have been replaced)

I might get ahold of the blackberry tech support and see what they say. Will update when I speak to tech support. |
