In an effort to free up space on my PC, I would like to delete at least one installed OS from my PC. I currently have installed 4.2.180, 4.2.184, 4.5.52 and now 4.5.69.

At a minimum, can I delete the 4.2 OS's or any OS's I am not using with without messing up my current OS (4.5.69)?? I want to make sure before I start removing things.

You actually could delete them all but your current one if you wanted....but it might be a good idea to keep the one you know works the best for you at the time for a backup just in case

I think I have like 5....too lazy to check in the other room...on the laptop atm

When you remove them, be sure and use the Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel to uninstall them properly.

Oh yea that's true...if you don't you have to reinstall them and then uninstall them again lol..know that from experience

Thanks JC, exactly what I did. I also kept the last OS in case I need to roll back but don't think I will be looking back..

@Nick: there are plenty of folks here that can help you take out the trash (all 14 OS's) JS and Ricpac have offered to help

Now this is peer pressure. Fine, I'll remove the old ones. If they didn't release update after update so friggin quick it wouldn't be a problem, but I am in that "gotta have the latest" mindset.

Yes and make sure all the cods that you removed are in alphabetical order as well
