I need help. I have read the faqs as to allowing full wap internet access and have other apps that work.

During the first run of this software I slipped and denied access for this program when prompted. Where can I go to reverse this?

Convert them to .cod files there is a thread here that shows you how do a search for jad or jar convertions to cod, and then install using javaloader.

I see you can use the scroll wheel to move north/south. How do you scroll the map east and west?

Cool app. btw - I really like it.

this is one of the coolest - if not the coolest - free app (imho) for blackberries.
Downloaded it on my 7250 and it was working within seconds.

Same way you move the cursor horizontally.

Aren't you familiar with Alt+trackwheel when writing email messages to move the cursor in 4 directions instead of 2? Same thing.

Darn it Mark I was ready to suggest for him to turn his BB either 90 degrees cw or 90 degrees ccw, learn something new every day, hahaha. Sorry could not resist that one, Bad boy, Baaaaaaaaaaaaad boy.

I downloaded this today too, really nice and works, I could even find my house I have been using the beta verion of google maps for about a year on the PC, I use it for all my maps.

I was wondering how this app differed from just going directly to www.maps.google.com, so I tried that too. The google site is definitely slower, although is what I am more use to, but really slow, I think because it builds so much more map that you can actually see to support the grab and drag functionality.

I think this will be a keeper

Mitch

ps. thanks for the tip on scrolling sideways, I was getting tried turning it 90 degrees and laying on my side....

I do not have the Hello World browser. I have a browser from Black Berry and Nextel.

Thanks!

So... I downloaded this app last night...and it's cool as heck. But... does this app drain my battery life? It's the only application I've downloaded since getting my 7250 a week ago... and it's had great battery life until today... (it'll have full bars to 4 bars before I go to sleep)... but since i've downloaded the Hello World app the BB's gone down to 4 bars after 10 minutes of calling. ???

I could go through an hour of talking on a normal day and still have it be full battery meter before going to bed.

Now when I open the hello world app it's like I'm just maximizing it... and when i close it... it's like I'm minimizing it... so it's running the whole time my BB's on? It would seem like this would be a huge drain on the battery no?

is there a way to shut off this program when I close it? or will this app always be on?

Hanwei
