Default 8120 os v4.5 on my 8110 from Rogers

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I just ordered a blackberry Pearl 8110 from Rogers. I have not received it yet but I decided to do a little research before hand. I was on the Blackberry website and under the download OS by Carrier I selected Rogers 8110. According to the website the os version that ships with the 8110 is v.4.3. However, I selected the 8120, also by Rogers, and that os is the latest v4.5.

My question is, can I install the v4.5 for the 8120 on my 8110? Also another question I have is what are the advantages of v4.5? Is it quicker? More reliable? I know that it supports HTML e-mail messages which is great. Anything else I should know?

Thank you in advance for you help!

No, that won't work. Can only put 8110 OS on an 8110 (and only 8120 OS on an 8120).

Thanks for the reply,
In that case, can I upgrade to the v4.5 on my 8110?
