Hi-I am new to this forum. I use my BB constantly for work and have just noticed over the past two weeks that my WiFi keeps turning off automatically. I haven't changed anything on my BB. This is very frustrating as I am on the road and this is my lifeline. As I am on the road I don't have the time to take it into the store. I have owned this BB for about 18 months. Can anyone tell me why this might be happening and if there is anything that I can do to fix this?

Well, it's not wifi. It's your wireless connection to the network but it's not really called wifi.

However, try rebooting the BB by removing the battery. That sometimes solves this problem.

The 8700 doesn't have WiFi. Let's start there....

Sorry--it is my wireless that keeps turning itself off. I have to go down to the icon next to the Power off icon and click to turn on.

I will remove the battery and see if this helps. If not, I will post a reply back on this forum.
