battery drain problem

hi i am having a huge problem. i have a 7250 from bell. when i click on the "turn power off" icon and i select "full power off". the battery gets completly drained. i have turned my bb off on friday and when i try to turn it back on-on sunday the bb wont turn on because the battery is completly drained. i have taken my bb back for this and received a supposed new one from bell and i have the exact same problem. is this supposed to happen?

thank you

I have an issue if I leave my 7250 in a hot car, the battery drains very quickly. Where do you store your BB over the weekend?

i store it in my house which is actually pretty cold. my issue is strictly when my bb is off in the full power off mode

I don't know why it happens but, after noticing a serious battery discharge overnight when the unit is turned off, I just left it on overnight and found that, even though email kept coming in, there was no appreciable battery drain.

Night gremlins???

i want to find out whats going on because if u just select the first option when turning it off you dont get battery discharge but the bb turns on when a calendar item or alarm goes off. that's why i want to us full power off. the problem is sometimes i dont have my charger and if i select full power off the bb discharges. it drives me nuts. when i spoke to tech support they told me that its not supposed to happen. the first bb i had did it and i thought it was because i had used a cheap car charger on it. however with my new bb i have never used the cheap charger and it still happens. it really drives me nuts.

Sorry, I've never had that problem. In fact, my understanding is that if you select the full power off option, it is supposed to ensure there is no battery drain whatsoever.
