Go to t-mobiles wesite and click on support. Select the blackberry you have and there's an option to update software. You'll have to enter your phone number in and once you do you can download the desktop manager and also the handheld OS.

go to t-mobile.com/bbupgrade. Click get software next to your phone. enter your t-mobile number. select either of the versions of the desktop manager that say "with media manager" keep in mind that this could take up to 30 minutes to install depending on your computer. but once it's installed, to move media files over to your computer, just use the media manager. if you log into your t-mobile.com account, click on support, and select phone and device, you should get an article on how to use the media manager if you search for it.

Spammer?

The FAQ links are to the sister site of the one you are posting on, written by the good members of this forum to help (normally thankful) users such as yourself.

The last link was direct to the RIM download site.
You can get the updated versions of Desktop Manager.

If you want what came on your disk, get one of the older version posted there. The one for the model 1800 you have, is the one you want.

Geez! And NickfromIL helped this guy 3 weeks ago with the same issue.

How many times do you need the same question answered?

Is software that originally comes with berry needed?

Yea, we really need to do something about that JSanders, I mean JSpammers character.

Posting links to step by step instructions. The shame!

@bigredac, you may want to rethink your attitude.

Going right downhill, I tell you.

I may have to start wearing dark sunglasses when I come around.
