Problem with BlackBerry Instant Messenger
 

I just installed the BlackBerry Instant Messenger from http://www.blackberry.com/messenger. When I first installed it, I had some problems with getting notified...

1. The first problem was I didn't get any audible notification and I discovered that it was because I didn't set the new settings in the Profile. My problem.

2. The second problem was AND is that I don't see any visual notification of receiving a message. I used to see a balloon icon at the top with the number of messages. Now, I don't see any icons!!!

I am with t-mobile and use a 7100t.

have you tried deleting it from the applications option and reinstalling it...

no problems here at all

lots of people had that problem. just reinstall it and it will be fine.

i found that when you type myver in the messenges it only gives you the messenger version and not your model/apps version number.
