Unhappy Problem with BlackBerry Instant Messenger

Please Login to Remove!

I just installed the BlackBerry Instant Messenger from When I first installed it, I had some problems with getting notified...

1. The first problem was I didn't get any audible notification and I discovered that it was because I didn't set the new settings in the Profile. My problem.

2. The second problem was AND is that I don't see any visual notification of receiving a message. I used to see a balloon icon at the top with the number of messages. Now, I don't see any icons!!!

I am with t-mobile and use a 7100t.

have you tried deleting it from the applications option and reinstalling it...

lots of people had that problem. just reinstall it and it will be fine.

i found that when you type myver in the messenges it only gives you the messenger version and not your model/apps version number.
