Default 7520 Features Question ...

Please Login to Remove!

Hello... As a new 7520 user, I searched for the answers, but didn't find anything. Please forgive me if it's been discussed before...

I have the new 7520 that our I.T. department set up for me, and it has a of stale users in the phone book. They were probably downloaded from the Enterprise server. I need to delete them. It would take a long time by hand. Is there a software app that lets me sync it, or edit it from the PC using the USB cable??

Also, where can I find the Windows XP drivers for Blackberry 7520. The CD that came with the phone seems to have neither the application I would like nor the drivers.

Thanks in advance!

Give us some more details on your environment. Do you use Outlook as your email client? Does your company have a BES server? Is your company using Exachange?

I would talk to your IT about disabling address book syncronization, and then use the Desktop Manager software, go into Backup and restore>advanced and delete the one that says Address Book to remove them.

Dunno if your IT just put them on there once or if they will keep sending/updating them, but either way this should take care of it.
