Is there anyway to disable the spellcheck built into OS 4.5 without reinstalling and desecting it from the firmware intall menu?

Options > Spellcheck. UNcheck the last box "Spell check email before sending" and you won't be bugged by it on every email. You can still spell check before sending, but it is only an option, not forced.
