I know the ac adapter that came with my 8830 is INTERNATIONAL - all I need is the outlet adapter. I would guess the same is true for yours (although the 8830 is known as the World Edition).

You should be able to see the specs on the adapter and it should be a variable value like 110 to 220.....

The one issue is that in Germany/Austria (don't know about Spain) some of the sockets are recessed and some of the adapters are too large to fit inside the "recess." I have a very slim adapter that is kind of just like a stardard two-prong size that fits the recess.

Look at the specs on the transformer plug on your charger. I am almost certain that all you need is a plug converter/adapter. The charger that came with my 8310 says: INPUT:(100-240V a.c. 50-60Hz 0,2A) which makes is dual voltage.

Yup. Just get the plug adapter. The charger will handle everything else as far as voltage. At least in Western Europe.
