Default Newbie,Sync Outlook with BB question

Please Login to Remove!

I've searched but cant find a clear answer. I am currently using webclient to recieve any new emails I get to go to my bb. I would also like to sync my contacts, tasks and memos to and from my bb. I am using Outlook 2003 and I have a static IP. What would be the easiest and most cost effective way of doing this? Do I have to have Microsoft exchange to do something like this?

Install Desktop Mgr software that came with the BB and synch with Outlook out of the box.

Or (a cheaper solution) use a hosted BES solution.

HINT: you can not do this without a BES account.

Or he could wait just a tad longer for Sprint Nextel's Hosted BES solution.

That's right - Sprint finally decided to sell the BlackBerry.

That assumes that the OP has Sprint or Nextel.

Desktop Manager will handle that for you after a manual sync, to the best of my knowlege.

Default exchange

Hi ho. Total newbie here. I think this thread answers a question that our "tech" person can't answer but I just want to confirm.

Can one receive Exchange email on a Nextel BB 7520 without the BES? I'm guessing that the "hosted BES" referred to in an earlier post is what is used to accomplish this, yes?

thanks.
