From what ive read across the web in an effort to fend off trillian and other 3rd party im companies aol has blocked the toc protocol and does not plan on allowing access to it unless the the third party company signs acontract with them. In otherwards AOL is being Extremely Greedy. the courts ordered aol to leave the oscar protocol open but apparently allowed the toc protocol to be blocked unless you upgrade to toc2. so unless sra releases a new version thats toc2 equipped or signs a deal with aol ramble could be finished.
I miss ramble and am very disappointed. If it had not been for trillian being greedy this may not have happened because they are the ones that caused this mess to happen by continuously trying to defeat aols blocks. i dont like trillian anyway i prefer the normal aim script myself and wish theyd release it on the 7510 through nextel. But i liked ramble better than verichat and im+ i think they are greedy too.

I liked ramble only because it was free I dnnt see that its any better than the other im options other than the money. I like getting all my im in one place personally

I down loaded ramble on to my 7520 and try to log on but it seems to take forever to load. I tend to cancel the connection because it takes too long. Have I missed a step or don't have a setting on the device properly in place?

nope havent mised anything but the last two weeks of us discussing that it doesnt work anymore

they make trillian for BB? i though it was only for the computer. is there another free way to access aol/aim on the bb?

no they dont make trillian for bb. but it uses the same server address that all the other 3rd party aim clients such as ramble.
