Angry Adding .jar file to your blackberry??

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys can anyone help me i am trying to download a .jar file to my blackberry
and have no idea how to do this. I cant upload it using the desktop manager. I tried emailing it to me and opening it up through the web browser on my phone and it tells me something about "Unsupported media type: application/octet-stream" Can anyone help?

You have to download it via the web browser. A .jar file is meant for OTA (Over-The-Air) installations using the browser.

Default cant download it OTA??

i sent the file to my yahoo email and tried opening the attachment and i am getting this error message

"Unsupported media type: application/octet-stream"

If you can't OTA with your BB, download the jar and jad files to your PC and then copy them to your media card. Once there, through the BB media manager you can install them from there.

According to his profile, he has an 8700. Otherwise I would have suggested that. I don't think it's possible for him.
