I *think* I have figured out why my emails have been disappearing but wanted to check if my theory is correct...

I use a Mac and a .Mac email account - I use various folders on my email program (mail) so when I get an email I move it to the relevant folder. Does this mean that when the blackberry does its email reconciliation it will see that the message is no longer in the general inbox and delete it off the handheld?

I have turned of email reconciliation and hope this will stop my emails vanishing - its quite annoying that the BB cant pick up on the fact I have folders set up - maybe this will be fixed one day

How is your account configured? Are you on BES? If so, are folders redirected?

Sorry to sound stupid but I dont know how everything is set up I have a data plan and just clicked the mobile email settings icon to enter my details. I am not a business user if that helps?
