Question Funny thing

Please Login to Remove!

I am deployed in response to the disaster, and am in Baton Rouge with my ATT (Cingular) 7230. I am getting no signal at all, however a colleague with the same set up is getting GPRS no problem....Her network is showing Cingular, mine is showing, "none". Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I am *guessing* that the colleague has a 7280 model, which has the 850 MHz GSM band (which the 7230 does not). That could explain it. If they are both 7230s then I have no explanation......

Apparently not as the original poster says his/her colleague's phone is showing the Cingular network.

Do a network scan on yours and see if it will pick up the cingular network manually.
