Hi Guys.
Pleas help me !!!
First time post here.
I have problem with my BBerry 7290 from Cingular.
This dosen't start anymore. When i connect the batery (even with sim card inside or without) the red let from the top of BBerry stay on for app. 3 second then on the screen apear a clepsydre who start to rotate and that's all. Nothing happend after this ! I waited and more then 10 minutes but nothing happend, the same clepsydre on the screen who rotate and nothing anymore.
Please give me some addive about my problem, anyone had this problem before ? how was solv ?
I am disperated i can't use anymore my BBERRY :)

When you get it working, make sure you get a spell checker.

Sorry for my description but my english is poor, i am Romanian guy and here we speak diferent language then English :).

Did you try running through the Application Loader in Desktop Manager to reload the handheld?

No, i like to know how i can do this operation.
You can explain me PLEASE.
Is need to connect the 7290 to my comp. and then ?
I have installed BBERRY handheld manager on my PC but i don't know if this will connect with 7290 because this dosen't start, just show on my screen this clepsydra when i plug the batery in to bberry.

Well, open Desktop Manager, go to Options, Connection settings and click detect. Hopefully this works. If not, don't worry, just go to Application Loader, and this should detect the handheld (pretty much no matter what state it is in) and you can reinstall the operating system and applications. To do this you need to ensure you have the correct handheld software for your 7290 installed on your computer as well.

1) I started the BBERRY via Desktop Manager software. The divice work propertly now but every time when i take out the batery is need to start the procedure and reload aplications from Desktop Manager.
2) I have another new problem now, i think the device is locked because this not find any Romania network. Have anyone know how i can unlock the device ? If i will request this at Cigular Provider they will give me a solution for this ?

UPS !!! I think i am wrong !!! I think is a problem with my SIM Card because if i try to select preferd network this give me the message "SIM Card Error-No valid SIM Card !"
Any ideea ?
