Default abc amber converter - 09-02-2008, 11:55 PM

Hello everyone
I downloaded abc amber converter and paid for a full version in July. I am yet to receive a registration code. I was so disgusted that Emetrix agreed to refund the amount. I have sent several mails in the last 2 days to process text but no use. They have not replied to Emtrix itself!

Any suggestions? I prefer saving my contacts in a format that any phone can use and this amber converted seems to be the only option.
Thanks in advance for suggestions

Why not sync them to Outlook. Most phones can sync with Outlook.

Sorry I did not make myself clear. The BB saves contacts as IPD files only . Is there any other format that I can use while backing data from the BB? I cannot convert this ipd into the common formats except by amber converter I presume?

This is true. However, you can sync the device with Outlook and then sync Outlook with other types of phones. That really is the best way.

There are instructions in the Help section of Desktop manager. Just go into the "Syncroniztion" application in Desktop Manager and it's pretty intuitive.

Tks a lot. I synced it with outlook- very easy . However I cant use bluetooth on xp2 for syncing as the desktop manager does not recognize toshiba bluetooth stack drivers. Any idea where I can secure sp2 native bluetooth drivers?
Thanks in advance

Remove the Bluetooth drivers from Control Panel Add/Remove Programs. Then delete the bluetooth devices from Device Manager. Then reboot the computer. With any luck it should pick up the Windows drivers.
