Hello all...new member of the forum and relatively new BB owner. I have the BB Curve, 8310 I think in Pink from Rogers in Canada. I love how easy it is to use Gmail on my BB but have one question. I am also not very tech savvy, so please bear this in mind.

When I first got the phone, whenever I deleted something out of my Gmail, I would get the prompt 'Delete on handheld/ or delete on mailbox and handheld'. I always chose the latter, so as not to have to delete in my Web Inbox at a later point.

Just recently I had to do a system wipe on my BB, where I went to Options, General, and did 'Wipe Handheld' from the menu. So I backed everything up onto my computer, wiped the handheld, and then restored it all back again. My question is, since then, whenever I use Gmail, I do not get the prompt I got earlier. When deleting email, I only get either 'Delete' or 'Cancel' with no option to delete out of my mailbox simultaneously.

Any idea why and how I can overcome this?

No worries, just open your messages folder, hit the menu key, options, email reconciliation, choose the messaging service, then below it choose Delete on: Prompt.

That should do it.
