i have a blackberry 6280 and on the top of it where it usually shows if i have any missed messages or anythin there is a number 1 and then a little symbol that looks that a tape recorder or something. i have no idea what it is and i really want to get rid of it. so any help is appreciated. thanks

It is probably a notification of voicemail.
