| Heh... you made this post just so you could use the word 'sophmoric', didn't you?
Unfortunately, 'sophmoric' isn't a word. 'Sophomoric' is, however. | | Offline

| While your post is academically interesting, we need to ensure that we philosophically separate the act of responding with a knowledgeable and sufficiently granular rejoinder, and of promulgating utter and arbitrary non-sense. Although, when peeling the onion back a bit, we often find it empowering to hear one selves speak, even when that said speak is non sequitur to the topic. I believe this is simply a manifestation of an underlying basic condition which effects the masses from time to time like an untraceable transient environmental condition. A fair characterization (on the flip side) of a knowledgeable response has its mutually exclusive roots in pure erudition, the extensive aggregation of facts and insight. Be aware though, that when we hold our feet to the fire we expose the opportunity of being proven incorrect, but can we as a species really make any active material progress without a dogged focus on moving forward while culturing our failure scenarios? With those boundary conditions satisfied we minimize the prospects of post contention on this here fine BB forum. - - - - - - Wow, BSing using big words is F-U-N! | | Offline

Hey roofus, who says you have to read every single post in its entirety? You disagree with some, so what? Try to be more tolerant. Saying that somebody's posts are "stupid" is the pot calling the kettle black and much more likely to draw the attention of a moderator than the posts you complain about.
