Default 8100 Signal Boost?

Please Login to Remove!

I routinely tether my Pearl 8100 running on T-Mobile to my laptop and get a connection that is somewhere in between dialup and broadband (usually closer to dialup, but adequate in a pinch).

That is, except in one particular area, the one, of course, where I need it the most. It's in a press box at a stadium and there the connection slows down to a crawl.

Does anyone know of a hardware or software solution that will boost the signal to a Pearl? It gets a signal, the phone works fine as a phone, email comes through, Web browser on phone works OK. I just need that little bit of ooomph to get a semi-decent Web connection.

Thanks,

There is nothing to put on the device that will help. You'd need a repeater in the press box at the stadium.

Wirelessly posted (8100 Strike 2)

I have noticed low coverage that might be due to thousands of people on the network in a 100 yard radius.
