Angry SIM Copied Numbers - Easy Way to Combine?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I'm new to Blackberry - got an 8310. I copied several hundred numbers from my SIM card to my Blackberry address book. My former phone allowed several numbers under one contact, but when copying to the SIM, it flattens it, so each numbers shows up separately - that's how it copied then to the Blackberry. Is there any easy way to recombine three of the same contact name into a single contact with three numbers (cell, home, office, for example)? They all now show up separately as "work" and it looks like a long job to copy, open, paste, delete each one. If the latter is how it must be, any tips on copy/paste that doesn't take forever?

Also, I was surprised that when a new number comes on a call, I don't have the option to add it to an existing contact. My old cheap LG allowed that!

Best to sync them into Outlook and fix them there.
