Thumbs up I am new to BlackBerry

Please Login to Remove!

Hi friends,

I am new to BlackBerry.

Actually I am j2me developer.

I have developed an application which uses FileConnectionAPI in j2me.

I want to run the same application on any BlackBerry device.

So my question is:

1. Can I directly run the same j2me application (by loading the .jar and .jad) on BlackBerry device?

2. If not, do I need to download any specific sdk's for BlackBerry? What is the development environment for BlackBerry?

3. How can I use the FileConnection API in BlackBerry??

Can any one please answer my questions?

Its urgent.

Thanks,
Manoj.

Hi,

Thanks for your replies. But I didn't get any straight forward answers to my questions, i.e.,

Can we run j2me applications on BlackBerry?

Which APIs differs from j2me apis?

Thanks,
Manoj.
