Default Dropped my Curve in water- help!

Please Login to Remove!
I dropped my 8300 Curve in water yesterday. It powers up fine and I can scroll with the trackball, but none of the buttons work. Any suggestions? Is it repairable? If so, where should I send it to get repaired? Thanks-

Turn it back off! Turning it on while water is inside is the best way to fry a device so that it'll never work again.

Honestly, you've probably fried it now by putting the battery back in too soon.

Don't just turn it off, remove the battery.

Leave the battery out for a few DAYS. you want to make sure all the moisture is out of the device. Set it in some uncooked rice to help absorb the moisture. Follow the link provided and let's hope it'll survive.

Alternatively you can open the backside of your handset and lie it down under a low power study lamp.
