Default Can you access blackberry email address from laptop?

Please Login to Remove!

Is it possible to access email sent to my 8830 with a vzw.blackberry.net address from a regular Internet connection, say through my laptop? If so...how can I do it or where should I go to find out.
Thanks...

One of the big reasons NOT to use it - the only way to read mail to that account is on the BB.

no, you can only use it from the blackberry because it only recognises a blackberry or a few other blackberry devices.

Default Thanks for your info

I am becoming less and less a BB fan. About everything I want it to do....guess what? It will not do. Tethering it to my laptop....Nope. Running BB programs on laptop...Nope. Composing email with my laptop and sending on BB...nope. Overseas email...Yep. Toll free calls out of country to US...Yep, but $20 a mb! Text...Yep, but my fingers are too big for that little three row keyboard.
Thanks for you replys....
I'm still looking for something to will meet my needs.

What do you mean you can't tether it to your laptop? I tether mine all the time. Via USB cable or Bluetooth. Works great.

At the risk of being accused of being a fan-boi:

1. I tether frequently. Got rid of a data card and replaced it with the BB. Did lose some speed of data transfer, but not so much that it bothered me.

2. What are you trying to do with "Running BB programs on laptop"? Some programs have desktop and/or web counterparts that allow tight data integration, even if they are not exactly the same program.

3. International calling is a breeze; I'm not sure why you would even expect that to be toll free.

4. You might consider a Freedom Wireless folding keyboard if you are a frequent texter/IMer/Emailer from a location where you are restricted to using a BB.
