Default Hi, I'm new here, and I have a few questions.

Please Login to Remove!

Just picked up a Blackberry 9000 Bold today, and I have a few issues. Firstly I'd like to re-order the home page/desktop. I don't see the point of the Clock icon on the right, and would rather have SMS instead there. Also, how do I add all my sim contacts to the address book? I really can't be arsed to copy them all in individually. Thanks

Hi Ross and welcome to BBF.

what you do is move the icons you want on the homescreen by placing them in the top row of the BB Desktop.

Highlight an icon you want to move and hit the menu button, select move, them move it to where you want it and hit the trackball or use the menu again to place it there.

For sim contacts, open your address book, hit menu key and select options > sim phone book, when it has loaded hit menu key and select copy all to contacts. Your numbers may by default save as work numbers so you will have to manually edit them using copy/paste.

Hope that helps.

I didn't realise that you could press the menu button on icons, I thought it would just take you back to the menu. How embarrasing. Thanks for clearing that up!

Ok, I've moved the icons into the place that I want, but now on the home page, the icons look the same, but perform the functions of the icons that are supposed to be there. So, the first icon I changed to contacts, but it looks like the Messages icon? I've restarted it to no avail...
