Question Transfer photos from old phone to Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Hi. I copied some pics from my old phone to a memory card. I then inserted the memory card into my Pearl, but can't find anything. What do I do?

Format the card.

Go to Options>Advanced Options>Media Card>press menu button>format media card

If you dont see it under advanced options just check the main options menu.

You will loose all pictures, but the card needs to be formattedd for the BB.

It also can't be more than 4GB since you're probably running 4.2.1 software.

Make sure that you move the pictures off the card onto your computer first before formatting if you're interested in saving them.

Ahhhh... did anyone think to ask if the OP had the media card enabled? options>media card>media card support (on.)

Also, be sure that when you plug the BlackBerry into your PC, that you enable mass storage support on the BlackBerry. This can be set to prompt you every time, or just enable automatically.

Just because it has not been formatted by the BlackBerry does not mean it won't work. I never had to format 3 different cards I purchased before using them in the BlackBerry.
