| A Slightly Different BB Fido Problem - Please Help Please Login to Remove! Hi all, im new to posting my own thread but I've been looking at other people's posts for a long time.
I have a 8320 unlocked for which I got data plan for from fido. And I know fido doesn't offer the BB connect anymore, and I know the only reason they have the fido.blackberry.ca is to support clients who got the BB connect before.
I changed the TCP settings of my blackberry to the specifications the Fido rep told me and after much struggle, I realized the only application that I can run that would help me use my newly acquired data plan is Opera, nothing else works.
I called fido and the rep told me if I am able to change the DNS values my problem should be fixed. Right now I get edge signal rather than EDGE so pretty much none of the data requiring features work.
Does anyone know how to change the 8320 DNS settings or has a way around it?
Also if someone could tell me if Im able to set up a non-enterprise email on my device? in the setup it only gives me the enterprise option.
